The Aggie Icers are a women's marketing organization for the Texas A&M Men's Ice Hockey Team. We promote Aggie Hockey both on campus and in the Bryan/College Station area. We not only strive to support the hockey team, but we are an organization that supports each other! Becoming an Icer is like gaining a close-knit family that will welcome you with open arms. Howdy!
My name is Emma Tran, and I have the honor of serving as President of Aggie Icers for the 2023-24 season!
Being a part of Aggie Icers has been the experience of a lifetime. When I joined my sophomore year, I was looking for a group of girls that I could be myself with and truly rely on as a support system. Icers gave me that and so much more! The girls in Icers have grown to be my best friends whom I will cherish for life. The Icers I have been blessed to know are confident, genuine, and talented young women who are not only passionate about hockey but also serve as an example of what it means to uphold the Aggie Spirit. Aggie Icers is a family that is so loving, with every word so organic and every action true and rooted in authenticity. In growing together, this organization has allowed our girls to cultivate lifelong skills and to be a better leader in all aspects of life.
While we were founded on cheering on the Texas A&M Ice Hockey team, previous knowledge of the sport is not required. In fact, some of our members’ first hockey game has been enjoyed through Icers!
As an Icer, our organization helps promote the Texas A&M Ice Hockey team through marketing and gameday support. Outside of hockey activities, we maintain bonds through socials with the Hockey team and other organizations, sisterhood events, and the annual formal at the end of the season. These opportunities allow us to grow closer to each other and get to know the team we support. My favorite events have been big-little, sand volleyball with the team, and galentine’s!
We are so excited to be back in the rink again this year as we support the 2022 TCHC champions and are thrilled to inspire Confidence and Spirit on and off the ice this year. We hope you join us this season! ​
